Terms of use

Renticulate is a place for tenants and landlords to find each other, and a way to reach Renticulate Trade for work on a home. We are not a party to a tenancy, a licence, or a contract for work that two people make through the site. A listing is the landlord’s statement, not ours.

Singapore: Renticulate is not a licensed estate agent and does not carry on estate agency work under the Estate Agents Act 2010. We do not negotiate a tenancy for you, hold option money or a deposit, or collect a commission as an agent. You deal with the other person directly. If you are an estate agent yourself, your licence and the rules of the Council for Estate Agencies still apply to you.

Perth: Renticulate is not a licensed real estate agent and not a property manager under Western Australian law. We do not hold a bond and we do not manage a tenancy. A bond, a tenancy agreement, and any condition report are between the landlord and the tenant.

Homes, people, and tradies marked as samples are fictional. They are not offers, not homes you can take, and not people you can hire. A rent on a sample is an illustration. Do not rely on it.

You need an email and a password of your own. You must say whether you are registering from Perth or Singapore. That answer is stored on the account and is not changed from the profile page. Accounts created before this question existed are registered in Perth.

You are responsible for what you put on your profile, and for keeping the password to yourself. One person, one account. The same account is what Renticulate Trade will use when that site joins this sign-in.

Do not post anything unlawful or misleading, and do not post someone else’s personal data without a proper reason. Do not scrape the site, try to break into an account, or use the waitlist to send your own marketing. We may close an account that is used that way.

Much of the site is a preview. Joining the waitlist does not reserve a home and does not create a tenancy. We use that email to tell you when early access opens, and for nothing else, unless you later agree.

Nothing on the site is legal, tenancy, tax, or valuation advice. The rules on deposits, notice, and stamp duty are different in Western Australia and in Singapore, and they change. Check the current rules, or ask someone qualified, before you rely on a listing.

The Renticulate name, the logos, and the words and layout of this site are ours. You keep the rights in the profile text and photo you upload. You let us show that profile to other people using the site for as long as the account exists.

We do not exclude a liability the law does not allow us to exclude. That includes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for our duties under the PDPA where it applies, and for the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law where they apply to a Perth registration.

Outside those duties, the site is a place to meet and a preview of the product. We are not liable for a tenancy that does or does not go ahead, for a home going to someone else, for the condition of a property, or for the work of a tradie you find through Renticulate Trade. Those outcomes sit with the people who made the agreement.

A Perth registration is governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia, and the courts there hear a dispute about that account. A Singapore registration is governed by the laws of Singapore, and the Singapore courts hear a dispute about that account.

Opening the other branch to have a look does not change the law of your registration.

We may update these terms or the privacy notice. The date on each page is the date of that version. If a change affects how we use personal data, the privacy notice will say so before we rely on the new use. If you keep using the account after that date, you accept the update. If you do not, delete the account and stop using the site.
