For people letting a home

You met them on the day you handed over the keys.

Good people, good homes.

A forwarded chat is a thin way to trust someone with the flat. Renticulate is where you read the person first. The rent you listed is the rent, and a commission is not sitting on the first month.

Early access for people letting, across the towns we are opening.

I am looking for a home

What letting feels like now

The flat is yours. The doubt arrives with the keys.

The agent said they were easy. You had a name, a payslip, and a day to hand the place over. If they mark the walls and move to the next town, that story does not follow them. The commission is already gone.

Illustrative scenes, not real customers.

“The agent said they were easy. I met them on the day I handed over the keys. That was the whole reference.”

Arjun · trusting an agent’s word

“They marked the walls and moved to Bedok. The next owner will never hear about it.”

Siti · no trace left behind

“The group chat had forty messages and two people using the same photograph. I could not tell who was real.”

Chris · applicants he could not check

“By the time the commission was paid, the first month barely covered the instalment.”

Helen · a fee before the rent had settled

How it works for you

Know who you are letting in.

People apply to you. You read a record, then you talk. You are not paying someone to stand in the doorway and still leave you guessing.

  1. List the home yourself

HDB flat, condo or landed. Your words, your house rules. People apply to you.

  2. Read a person, not a forwarded PDF

Reviews and checks sit on the profile, so you can see who you are about to give the keys to.

  3. Your reputation is visible too

Past tenants can review you. You get a right of reply. Trust is not a one-way street.

  4. Choose, then talk

Pick on character. The rent you listed is the rent. The agent’s commission is not sitting on the first month.

What you see

A person, before handover day.

This is the shape of someone applying, and the profile tenants will read about you. The people are examples. The worry is not.

Safety

A track record you can actually see.

You are about to trust someone with the flat. They are trusting you with a deposit and a year of their life. Both of you should be able to see who the other has been.

Fewer places for a scam to hide

Verification on both sides. Listings tied to a landlord you can read. A tenant you can check before you hand over keys — or a deposit. Fake listings and fake applicants get less room to work.

Honest reviews, both ways

Tenants review landlords. Landlords review tenants. The point is a fair picture, not a pile-on.

A right of reply

A review is not the last word. Anyone reviewed can respond, in public, next to the original. One hard week does not have to be the whole story.

Visible, and fair

Consistently good behaviour shows up. Consistently poor behaviour does too, so it cannot simply be left behind in the next town. This is a verified track record with a right of reply — not a blacklist.

Around the home

The block gets kinder, too.

A home is more than a lease. Renticulate includes the people around it — the trades that keep a flat liveable, and the neighbour who can help for an afternoon.

Renticulate Trade

Aircon, plumbing, electrical, painting, pest control and cleaning, from people who already work in that town. This is Renticulate Trade, not a booking line.

Open Trade

Small jobs, posted nearby

An aircon that needs a service before the haze. A fridge that will not fit in the lift alone. Plants to water for a fortnight while you are away.

  • Service the aircon in Tampines
  • Help carry a fridge up at Clementi
  • Water the plants in Bishan for a fortnight

Example jobs, to show the idea. They are not live posts.

The aim is stronger, friendlier neighbourhoods, not just a signed lease.

Why character, not the higher offer

A higher offer is how the wrong person gets the keys.

Taking more rent this month does not tell you who will look after the place, or who will still be there when the lease is up.

You set the rent, and it stands

No one is invited to outbid the listing. You are not running an auction by accident.

A record that follows them

How someone treated the last flat can be read on the next one, with a right of reply so one hard week is not the whole story.

They can read you too

Past tenants can review you. A careful landlord is easier to choose, and easier to stay with.

The aim is a tenancy that lasts, because both sides chose each other with their eyes open.
